A high-end architecturally designed home of 340m2 over two levels with large areas of schist stone cladding in Millbrook, Queenstown, designed by Mason & Wales Architects.
To construct a high-end architecturally designed 2-storey home to a very high-quality finish and complete hard landscaping areas. A large part of the build was undertaken through a cold Queenstown winter.
The project won a Gold Master Builders (MB) Award for the $1.5M to $2M construction category.
The install timeframe for the schist cladding was long given the areas and complexity of some of the areas and shapes to work around. Installed RAB board with taped joints on the exterior to allow us to continue inside works whilst the cladding was being completed.
